The Estepona Bullring

Bullfighting is unfortunately a huge part of Spanish culture, but many people today including the Spanish are debating about the cruel sports usefulness. Estepona’s bullring used to host around 12 bullfights per year, however, today the ring hosts one bullfight and only during the feria. During the rest of the year, the bullring is put to better use. Besides the Feria events held in July the bullring hosts all kinds of musical concerts, attracting big names and local talents.

The Museum of Estepona

Housed in the bullring you will find the Bullfighting Museum. This museum is named after Antonio Ordonez, one of the great Malaga born bullfighters who provided the financial backing for Estepona’s Bullring. On display are several photographs from historic moments in bullfighting history.
